IPR means «Intellectual Property Rights» and represents patents and other exclusive rights or juridical protected rights to product, ideas or concept. Protected trademarks are also part of a company’s IPR. Software is usually not patented, software solutions are difficult to protect. If the key product is a hardware solution, IPR may be critical in order to be considered by investors.
